Photojournalistic Journey From The West Coast Invitational

Shelby Smallwood earned two season best on the day, here finishing 2nd in the 100 meters from lane 6; she later went on to finish 5th in the 200 meters.  Mary Ellen Bradley (on the outside in lane 9) broke the 13 second barrier for the first time propelling her to # 9 all-time for the Warriors!
In just her third race of the season Ashley Lara dropped a massive kick down the home stretch to finish 6th in the 800 meters.  The sophomore dropped 4 seconds off of her personal best propelling her to #9 all-time for the Warriors.
On a warm 90-degree day Eyobed Mesfun ran strategically in the pack to finish 2nd in the boys 3200 meters.  He now eyes the sub 10 barrier with a finish of 10:06, a mark that is #2 all-time for Valley Christian.
Kailey Eddy got her first big meet experience and had her hands full with nearly 35 girls scheduled to stat her race.  Despite the clustered pack the freshman finished 11th in 5:38, just seconds off of her personal best.
