Seniors Honored in Last Home Meet of the Season

San Jose, CA - It was a day to celebrate the seniors and it was their day to shine as the Warriors hosted Mitty in the last dual meet of the season. The Warriors posted 50 season bests on the day and many outstanding performances that landed on the team's all-time list.

Meet Highlights:

• Lydia Sum won the 100 hurdles with a time of 15.10. Her time currently ranks #2 in CCS and is #3 all-time for the Warriors.
• Melissa Reese won the 400 meters in a personal best of 62.03.
• Ashley Lara won the 800 meters in a time of 2:21.50, a season best.
• Elaine Ma won the long jump, shattering her personal best by a foot hitting 17-8, currently #3 all-time for the Warriors.
• Bekah Bruckner participated in four events on the day running a personal best in the 300 hurdles. Her time of 51.05 is and #8 all-time for the Warriors.
• Throws once again came out strong with a sweep in the shot put. Freshman Athya Iese tossed one 39-0, currently #4 in the CCS. Bruckner and Stone are ranked 1-2 respectably.   
• Blair Murphy ran a personal best in the 100 meters running 12.57.
• Nathan Lynch ran a personal best 4:50 in the 1600 meters.
• Will Bainbridge moves to #9 all-time for the Warriors in the 300 hurdles running 44.50.
• Nikolas Trofort had a big day running personal best in both the 100 (11.52) and the 200 (23.86).
