San Jose, CA – Valley Christian traveled to Bellarmine
Wednesday continuing league dual meet competition.
For the second consecutive week the victor of the 4x400 meter relay
decided the team win. The final event was a close one as well. Locked in a back
and forth battle Valley Christian and Presentation battled all the way to the
finish. Matching their best time this season the girls won the relay and are currently tied for second place in league standings with a 3-1 record. In total the Warriors had 54 season best marks on the
day, an impressive fete for this late in the season!

Meet Highlights:
- In the sprints sophomore Trent Lauback finished the 100 meters in 11.35. Nick Trofort inches closer to the sub 24 mark running a personal best 24.26 in the 200 meters.
- Nedu Ndili won the 1600 meters in 4:39 in a near personal best. He also finished third in the 800 running 2:05 and split 53.6 in the 4 x 400 meter relay.
- Matt Weeks hit a personal best 5-10 in the high jump, currently is #6 all-time for the Warriors. Weeks also won the Triple jump with a mark of 40-9.5 and finished third in the long jump with a 19-0.5 showing.
- Nathan Lynch dipped under his pervious best winning the 3200 meters in 10:21.
- Max Moore moves up the all-time list with a personal best 118-10 in the discus. Eddy Nassif also had a strong showing with a personal best 112 foot mark.
- Impressive results in the sprints came from Melissa Reese ran a personal best in the 400 meters 63.92; Lydia Sum ran a personal best in the 100 meters in 13.32.
- Seven girls have now dipped under the 6 minute barrier. Brianna Becerra led the way with a personal best 5:46; Kailey Eddy, Kiko Li and Sophia Paterson all ran 5:54.
