Boys Track & Field Team Awards


Most Valuable Track Athlete: Sean Davis
Sean Davis is the school record holder in the 800, 1600 and 3200 meter races.  Sean set the pace this season once again in the distance races setting personal best in the 400 and 800 meter races.  An all-around superb athlete who runs with guts every time he steps on the track, Davis' work ethic is one to be admired.



Most Valuable Field Athlete: Jeremy Thompson
Jeremy Thompson has had a breakthrough season as one of the section's top triple jumpers.  Hitting a mark of 45-0 in his first meet of the year Thompson led the CCS for the first half of the season and qualified for the State Championships.  Thompson is one of only four jumpers in school history to triple jump over 45 feet. 




Coach's Award: Theodore King
Theordore King is one of the most focused and hardest working individuals on the Warriors roster.   With his throw of 46-1 at WCAL Championship he ranks #3 all-time for the Warriors and will have his sights on the school record his senior year! 


Frosh-Soph Most Outstanding Athlete: Eyobed Mesfun
Eyobed Mesfun did it all this season and through hard work and discipline he had an outstanding season breaking through the 5 minute barrier for 1600 and ran 10:56 for 3200 meters, the #9 all-time mark for the Warriors and set a personal best of 2:13 in the 800 meters.  He also ran the 400 meters (56) and was the anchor of the frosh-soph 4 x 400 meter team.
