Q:  When did you start running?  What inspired you to try cross country?

I started running in 7th grade when I ran Junior High Cross Country.  My friend Sara Orozco dragged me to practice and I have stuck with it ever since.

Q:  What was your first race?  Describe your experience.

My first race was in Junior High at Christmas Hill Park in Gilroy.  It was painful, and I did horrible.  Or maybe it was Hellyer Park...  I don't remember.

Q:  What do you like about running cross country?

The team bond is the best.  And getting fit and being able to eat whatever you want after practice!  Also being able to say you ran cross country.  People's reaction to you choosing to run cross country is priceless.

Q:  What are someof your favorite and / or toughest workouts?

I love running at quicksilver and doing pool workouts.  The toughest is Montgomery Hill when we do hill reps!

Q:  Favorites:  XC Race?  XC Course?

I like the Artichoke Invitational and Shoreline.
