WCAL Finals and Trials will begin Tuesday with the Boys Trials. All races are held at St. Francis High School.
Top Seeds for the Varsity Girls team include the Varsity 4 x 100
meter relay team of Andrea Harris, Shelby Smallwood, Kristin Sato and Mary Ellen Bradley who come into the meet ranked #1 in WCAL and #3 in CCS. Shelby Smallwood is also the top seed in the 200 meters and the #2 seed in the 100. She is joined by top seeds Kristin Sato (#2 in the long jump and triple jump),
Morgan Lira (#2 in the 3200 meters), Robriana Johnson (#3 in the triple jump), and the Varsity 4 x 400 meter relay which is seeded #2.
Top seeds in the JV Girls include Ronna Stone (#1 in the shot put), Karen Mac (#1 in the 800 meters; #2 in the 3200 meters), Lydia Sum (#1 in the triple jump) and Elane Ma (#2 triple jump, #3 High Jump). The JV Girls 4 x 400 team is also ranked #3.
For the Varsity Boys top seeds include the Warriors 4 x 100 meter relay which comes into the WCAL championship as the the top seed. Sean Davis enters as the top seed in the 800 and 1600 meters, while Byron Marshall is the top seed at 100 meters.
