WCAL Dual: Mitty @ VC

The sun came out for the WCAL dual against Mitty Wednesday!  After weeks of rain the warm temperatures were welcomed with fast times on the blazing fast mondo track at Valley Christian High School. 


Meet Highlights:

• Daniel Jackson and Theodore King go 1-2 in Shot Put with two season best marks.  Jackson throws 45-5 and TK 43-8.
• Phillip LoPristi get the school record in the 65 Hurdles with a time of 10.7 (Old Record: Cal McNabb 11.24).
• Morgan Lira wanted to break 2:25 and did so with a negative split coming through the first lap in 72 and ending with a 2:23.5.
• Sprints looked really good with Houp, Severson and Lwason running strong for the boys.  Smallwood gets it done in the girls 200 once again running 24.9 (hand time).
• Lowder adds depth to a strong 400 crew running 51.4.  A solid 4 x 400 might be in the future!
• Sato jumps 16-11.75 in the Long Jump with another strong performance.
