Davis Wins California Indoor Qualifier

Sean Davis won the 800 meters Saturday at the the Cal Berkley All-Comer with an impressive early season mark of 1:57.09.  The meet was the California Indoor Qualifier for the Bay Area.

Playing football in the fall, Davis has picked up where he left off last year where he finished fourth in the 800 meters at the CCS Championship in 1:57.14.  He opened up his season at the Laney All-Comer on January 8th where he ran 1:24.32 for 600 meters.  He followed that up two weeks later with a 4:28 mile at the Los Gatos All-Comer on January 22nd.

Other top marks for the Warriors at the Cal Berkley All-Comer include Shelby Smallwood, who ran 25.96 for 200 meters and Isabel Garcia who ran 2:30.64 for 800 meters respectably.
